US Cellular Hosts Guinness World Record Experience in Bangor, Encouraging Healthier Digital Habits

US Cellular recently hosted a unique event in Bangor as part of their ‘US Mode’ campaign, aimed at promoting healthier digital habits. The event featured a 507-foot mini-golf track, which holds the Guinness World Record for the longest temporary mini-golf hole. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in various activities, make pledges to form healthier digital habits, and enjoy a day of fun at Bangor’s Waterfront Park.

The ‘US Mode’ campaign emphasizes the importance of using your device as a tool to enhance your life, rather than letting it consume your time. Dallas Phillips, the Northern New England Retail Sales Manager for US Cellular, highlighted the campaign’s focus on spending quality time with loved ones and creating lasting memories. The event was organized by the U-S Cellular Board of Connectors, a group of young individuals dedicated to inspiring healthier digital habits. While the ‘Unplug & Play’ event series may have come to an end, the ‘US Mode’ campaign will continue to encourage users to prioritize meaningful experiences over excessive screen time.
