A recent Intel report reveals a significant gap between the expectations of manufacturing leaders regarding robotics and their actual readiness to implement these technologies. While 70% of leaders anticipate managing a fleet of robots within the next five years, only about 40% currently have a formal strategy in place.

For many years, robots had a straightforward role: they were fixed machines with designated tasks within defined environments.
